Katie's red coat is the perfect piece for this time of year--festive and functional. The fit is great, especially with the faux belt accenting her tiny waist. Plus, her dark skinny jeans, and black flats let this coat steal the spotlight!

those guys were (as you so casually referred to the fashionable foes we fought during our war for independence) were my inspiration. when i pitched the idea to mr. crew, mr. j crew, he thought it would make a splendid piece for the winter collection.
